A Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA) is an account created as an incentive to help parents and students save for education expenses. Contributions to a Coverdell ESA are not deductible, but amounts deposited in the account grow tax free until distributed. Distributions are tax-free as long as they are used for qualified education expenses, such as tuition and fees, required books, supplies and equipment and qualified expenses for room and board.

- Minimum balance requirements: The minimum balance required to open this account is
$10,000.00. You must maintain a minimum daily balance of $25.00 in your
account to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.
- Transaction limitations: During any month, you may not make more than six
withdrawals or transfers to another credit union account of
your own or to a third party by means of a preauthorized,
automatic, or computer transfer, telephonic order or instruction,
or similar order to a third party.
- Rate Information: The dividend rate and annual percentage yield may change
each month. The dividend rate for your account is based on
the 90-Day Treasury Bill from The Wall Street Journal. The rate
on the index will be between 80% and 110% of the index.
