If you are new to Student Loans, you can start the process by visiting http://www.fafsa.edu.gov (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  This site will not only supply the information necessary to apply for a federal student loan but also the ability to apply online.   To further assist you in this process we have links to several other documents which will assist you in this process.  We would like to recommend the 2009-2010 Quick Reference Guide.
