Full-Time Teller

We are announcing an opening for a Full-Time Teller reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager and based in the Marshfield office. 

Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members by performing a wide variety of customer service and clerical duties related to teller duties. Assists members and answers or appropriately refers questions.

This is an excellent role for a person with experience in our industry, or an industry with a strong emphasis on customer service. We are a highly member focused credit union. 

The hours of this position vary from 7:45am-5:15pm or 6:15pm on Fridays. Rotating Saturday schedule is also a must for the position as the branch hours are open from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Consumer Loan Officer/MSR

We are announcing an opening for a Consumer Loan Officer/MSR reporting to the Branch Manager in the Stevens Point Office.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to assist VCCU in achieving its mission by building lifelong relationships one member at a time, providing sound financial products and services.

This position must provide outstanding service to all members by identifying and finding solutions to improve their financial future. Ideal candidate will be responsible for lending growth and acting as the primary consumer loan officer. Interview consumer applicants and recommend approve or deny loan. Reviews credit reports and has the ability to communicate to members areas of improvement. Performs a variety of clerical duties related to loan processing, closing and administration.

This position will also be responsible for representing the credit union in a professional and positive manner. Support and guide members about products while looking for opportunities to cross-sell Credit Union services. Assist members inquires, and/or problems promptly, courteously, and professionally. Maintain branch surroundings that reflect the credit union’s commitment to provide exceptional member service.

• Product knowledge of all member services in order to open and maintain new member accounts.

Essential functions and basic duties:

  • Be able to effectively respond to inquiries regarding member service and consumer lending on all Credit Union related product and services.
  • Accountable for financial performance, member satisfaction, branch goals, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for reaching loan growth and product sale goals in consumer lending.
  • Ensure that each loan is processed accurately by making sure that each one is properly documented, closed and disbursed.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member while using direction and providing sound judgement in problem solving abilities.
  • Making outbound telephone calls to acquire additional member business and enhance service quality.
  • Maintain a regular schedule for business development by attending local events, such as but not limited to: involvement in The Wisconsin Credit Union League, Credit Union Chapter, Chamber of Commerce, and other local community events.
  • Participates in the community to help grow awareness and brand recognition of VCCU, by building and maintaining relationships with local businesses.
  • Maintain and develop a credit union professional reputation and privacy with member account information.
  • Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • NMLS # to be acquired if not already possessed.
  • Assist Branch Manager in working delinquent loans.
  • Refer mortgage loans to Branch Manager.
  • If necessary, may need to fill in for various positions within the branch.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of member service and consumer lending experience preferred
  • Highly sales oriented
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport with others
  • Time management and organizational skills

Job Description

We are announcing an opening for a Human Resource Specialist reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and based in the Mosinee Corporate office.

Summary: It is the responsibility of the Human Resources Department to represent the Employees and Valley Communities Credit Union in all areas of compliancy.

Status: Full Time: 40-42 hours per week

A Human Resources Specialist will possess and/or demonstrate the ability to:

Education / Experience:

  • High School
  • Associates or bachelor’s in human resources preferred
  • 3-5 Years of Human Resources experience preferred

  • Analytical & Technology oriented
