Consumer Loan Officer/MSR

Building lifelong relationships, one member at a time! Valley Communities Credit Union has been serving members for over 84 years.  With our rich history, starting out in 1935, we served the employees of the Mosinee Paper Mill with a tiny office in their punch house.  Growing continually over the years, we currently serve over 16,000 members in five different Central Wisconsin communities. 

As a loan officer, your primary responsibilities are to ensure a positive member experience by:

  • Serving as a loan officer
  • Identifying and finding solutions to improve their financial future
  • Excellent product knowledge in all areas in order to effectively cross-sell all credit union marketed products including allied products, new loans and member service-related products and services.
  • Performing a variety of duties related to opening accounts, loan processing, closing and administration
  • Supporting other staff within the branch

We are seeking a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience in Consumer and/or Real Estate Lending. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships and rapport with members and staff.

Part-Time Member Service Representative I (MSR I)

Building lifelong relationships, one member at a time! Valley Communities Credit Union has been serving members for over 84 years.  With our rich history, starting out in 1935, we served the employees of the Mosinee Paper Mill with a tiny office in their punch house.  Growing continually over the years, we currently serve over 16,000 members in five different Central Wisconsin communities. 

Part-Time Member Service Representative (MSR) I – Mosinee

As a Part-Time MSR I, your primary responsibilities are to ensure a positive member experience by:

  • Serving as Member Service Representative I (MSR)
  • Complete teller transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits and withdrawals
  • Identifying and finding solutions to improve their financial future
  • Supporting other staff within the branch
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members by performing a wide variety of customer service and clerical task related to MSR I duties

This is an excellent role for a person with experience in our industry, or an industry with a strong emphasis on customer service. We are a highly member focused credit union. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships and rapport with members and staff.

Lending Support Specialist

Lending Support Specialist

As a Lending Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities are to support all functions of consumer and real estate loan operations:

  • Serving as a Lending Support Specialist.
  • Track, audit, and maintain a solid foundation of knowledge in all areas of loan documentation, TRID rules and loan compliance.
  •  Identifying and finding solutions to improve the consumer and real estate process.
  •  Perform a variety of duties related to loan processing, procedures, and administration.
  • Provide excellent, friendly service to internal and external request, inquiries, and/or issues in a courteous and professional manner.

We are seeking a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in Consumer and/or Real Estate lending. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships and rapport with members and staff.

Branch Manager– Stevens Point

As a Branch Manager, your primary responsibilities are to ensure a positive member experience by:

  • Serving as Branch Manager
  • Acts as a Loan Officer, processing and approving member loans within established policies and limits. Ensures that branch achieves assigned loan production and operations goals.
  • Accountable for financial performance, member satisfaction, branch policies and procedures. Ensures branch adheres to internal control requirements.
  • Coach staff on a regular basis to guide them to higher performance and productivity, encourage employees to actively cross sell credit union products and services.
  • Ensures branch personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective jobs. Completes orientation of new employees in overall branch procedures. Actively participates in cross-training personnel and assures staff is kept abreast of all products and services. Conducts security training.
  • All other duties as assigned
