Part-Time Teller

Job Description: We are announcing an opening for a Part-Time Teller reporting to the Teller Supervisor located in the Kronenwetter Office.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members by performing a wide variety of customer service and clerical task related to teller duties. Assists members and answers or appropriately refers questions.

This is an excellent role for a person with experience in our industry, or an industry with a strong emphasis on customer service. We are a highly member focused credit union.

Status: This position will be part time averaging 20-30 hours per week, with some increase to those hours depending on the needs of the credit union branches and vacation schedules. This person must have great flexibility and be available during the hours of operation of the credit union 7:45am-5:15pm Monday-Wednesday, 7:45am-5:45pm Thursday and 7:45am-6:15pm on Fridays with a rotating Saturday schedule.

VP/Chief Lending Officer

Job Description: We are announcing an opening for a full-time VP/Chief Lending Officer reporting to the President/CEO based in the Mosinee Office.  

Summary: This position proposes, initiates, and oversees all loan programs provided by the company. Ensures compliance of all organizational policy and regulatory requirements and administers them to minimize risk to the organization. This person is ultimately responsible for the lending goals being set and achieved, developing and overseeing implementation of loan policies, products, and strategies.

Status: Full Time. This position will be required to travel between branches for training needs.

Duties to include (not limited to):

The person in this role is responsible for loan growth and profitability through business development within the community. This location requires a person capable of expanding its geographical reach through relationship driven business development. The person in this role is expected and responsible for loan growth and profitability through business development within the community, with an emphasis in the branches' surrounding communities.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
• Ensure overall soundness of loan portfolio, with the ability to identify and develop long term strategies that will include initiatives such as portfolio mix, growth strategies, and market penetration objectives. Direct the overall lending function of consumer, mortgage, and business areas of the credit union to ensure the members are receiving the best possible loan products and services. Pursue business relationships and work closely with key business contacts to grow membership and increase revenue & grow loan portfolio at all branches.

• Perform random monitoring of lending activity to assure appropriate lending decisions are being made by staff and that loans are within the guidelines of the company. Maintain and review monthly statistics on management and reports to evaluate quality of loan applications submitted from various third parties and the quality of loan decisions made by underwriters. In-house credit risk management expert in all areas of lending.

• Make recommendations for changes or additions to loan programs, processes or services which offer expanded benefits to financial institution’s members. Implements approved loan products and processes throughout the financial institution. Develop, implement and monitor adherence to the credit union’s lending policies and strategy; leads activities related to new product development, product implementation and risk assessment, with respect to lending programs.

• Manages direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including: hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraises performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, as appropriate. Determines personnel requirements and establishes work schedules.

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, all state/federal guidelines, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• College degree in finance, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of loan servicing experience.
• NMLS required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a lending operation for a financial institution.
• Mastered knowledge of commercial, construction, mortgage and consumer loan processing and loan operations.
• Has experience interpreting lending policies and procedures, including State and Federal lending regulations as well as underwriting guidelines.
• Advanced experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.

AVP of Lending

Job Description: We are announcing an opening for a full-time AVP of Lending reporting to the VP/ Chief Lending Officer based in the Mosinee Office.  

Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the approval and declines of consumer, real estate & business loan applications. Responsible for organizing, planning, and directing the company’s consumer, real estate & business loan functions to maximize profits and growth. This position establishes and implements departmental lending policies and operational procedures consistent with overall company management policies. Responsible for proficiency of lending software and products/services.

Status: Full Time. This position will be required to travel between branches for training needs.

Trainer, Loan Specialist

Job Description: We are announcing an opening for a full-time Trainer, Loan Specialist reporting to the VP/ Chief Lending Officer based in the Mosinee Office.

Summary: This position is responsible for designing and facilitating job related on-boarding/training to all new and existing team members of consumer & mortgage loan services to help them effectively perform their job responsibilities. Monitors training outcomes, acts on results and ensures training objectives are met. Responsible for auditing and being an underwriter for the employees in training.

Status: Full Time. This position will be required to frequently travel for training needs and to fill in at other branches as a loan officer when needed additional loan support.

Duties to include (not limited to):

• Work with the Branch Manager to coaches and develop individuals who are struggling to learn and apply key skills, knowledge and abilities related to their roles. Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen. Ensure all lending staff is knowledgeable in all areas of lending, and Credit Union services, and delivers accurate information to internal/external members and business partners.

• Successfully train and coach new and existing employee groups to achieve targeted sales, service, and quality goals. Schedules, coordinates and delivers training for team member at all branches.

• Continually work with all loan staff to find efficiencies in loan software and programs

• Qualified loan officer to fill in at other branches when needed additional loan support. Perform a wide variety of miscellaneous lending duties.

• Collaborates with the AVP & CLO to identify solutions and design training strategies for consumer and mortgage lending products and services.

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, all state/federal guidelines, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of loan servicing experience
• NMLS required
• 3-5 years of experience in similar training and development position preferred.
• Prior banking/credit union experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance required.
• Ability to facilitate or co-facilitate small and large group quality learning experiences.
• Candidate must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.

Member Service Representative

Job Description: We are announcing an opening for a full-time Member Service Representative (MSR) reporting to the Branch Manager in the Mosinee Office. 

Summary: The primary function of this position is to assist VCCU in achieving its Mission by Building lifelong relationships one member at a time, providing sound financial products and services.The MSR must provide outstanding services to all members and identify and find solutions for their financial needs to better their financial lives’.

Status: Full Time. The hours required for this position will be 40 hours, some weeks will increase based on the needs of the branch and its member loans. Credit Union Hours of Operation range from 7:45am-5:15pm Monday-Thursday, 7:45am-6:15pm on Fridays, and rotating Saturday schedules based on the needs of the branch.

Duties to include (not limited to):

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
• Product knowledge of all member services in order to open and maintain new member accounts.
Be able to effectively respond to inquiries regarding member service on all Credit Union related product and services.
Accountable for financial performance, member satisfaction, branch goals, policies and procedures.
Responsible for reaching product sale goals. 
Ability to work independently and as a team member while using direction and providing sound judgment in problem solving abilities.
Making outbound telephone calls to acquire additional member business and enhance service quality.
Maintain a regular schedule for business development by attending local events, such as but not limited to: involvement in The Wisconsin Credit Union League, Credit Union Chapter, Chamber of Commerce, and other local community events.
• Participate in the community to help grow awareness and brand recognition of VCCU, by building and maintaining relationships with local businesses.
• Maintain and develop a credit union professional reputation and privacy with member account information.
• Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
• Assist Branch Manager as needed.
• If necessary, may need to fill in for various positions within the branch.

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of member service experience preferred
