Operations Supervisor

Building lifelong relationships, one member at a time! Valley Communities Credit Union has been serving members for over 84 years.  With our rich history, starting out in 1935, we served the employees of the Mosinee Paper Mill with a tiny office in their punch house.  Growing continually over the years, we currently serve over 16,000 members in five different Central Wisconsin communities. 

As a Operations Supervisor, your primary responsibilities are;

  • Serving as an Operations Supervisor.
  • Oversees training and supervises duties of MSR 1 & 2, coordinating their workflow and schedules and assist on teller line.
  • Coach staff on a regular basis to guide them to higher performance and productivity, encourage employees to actively cross sell credit union products and services.
  • Assist Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations and following all policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships and rapport with members and staff, at least 2 years of management experience in a financial setting preferred

AVP of Operations 

Building lifelong relationships, one member at a time! Valley Communities Credit Union has been serving members for over 84 years.  With our rich history, starting out in 1935, we served the employees of the Mosinee Paper Mill with a tiny office in their punch house.  Growing continually over the years, we currently serve over 16,000 members in five different Central Wisconsin communities. 

Under limited direction, responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of processes in support of the various products and functions of various departments. Provides operational support to branch personnel as needed. Serves as a key operational resource for the Credit Union. Develops, implements, communicates and manages branch-related operational policies and procedures. Assist in developing and managing strategic initiatives.

As a AVP of Operations, your primary responsibilities are;

  • Functions as subject matter expert on all products within the department while leading process improvement projects to increase operational efficiency, improve the member experience, and manage risk. Analyze operational problems and develops procedures for their resolution.
  • Develop and maintain guides and references. Recommend and implement operational procedures and system utilization that supports the organizations long term strategic objectives and vision. Oversees and completes all projects as assigned. Keeps management apprised of all critical issues.
  • Indirect responsibility for functions of the member service operations, including training and development. Provide coaching support to employees to assist them in achieving higher productivity levels. Provide support for branch operational goal attainment. Conduct all personnel functions in accordance with applicable statues (e.g. EEO, OSHA, Fair Labor, etc.)
  • Strategic visions contribute to the success of the company's strategic plans and recommend improvements to products, pricing, cost effectiveness and procedures.
  • Works closely with the COO formulating and recommending operating policies and objectives or changes in existing policies and objectives; ensures compliance with and implementation of approved policies and objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships and rapport with members and staff, have 5-10 years of similar or related experince required.
